Transferred in 1954 to Republic of China AF as F86016There are several scale models painted in the color scheme to represent the F-86 that James "Jabby" Jabara (10 October 1923 ?Ητ 17 November 1966) flew during the Korean War achieving 15 victories over Mig-15's. Jabara's Wiki page shows a different F-86 FU-233 as his plane. If 52-4513 was Jabara's aircraft, he would have flown it during his second tour of duty in Korea in 1953.Another possibility is that this is Serial #: 51-2988Construction #: 172-271Civil Registration N86ZDave Zeuschel Racing Engines, Chino, CA, August 3, 1982-1987.- Registered as N86Z.- Recoverd from storage in California Orchard.- Rebuilt to airworthy, Van Nuys.- Flew as USAF/24513/FU-513.- Crashed and destroyed, Shafter, CA, April 25, 1987.-- Zeuschel Killed.
