This book is a collection of the 8th Air Force bomb groups that met with disaster in WWII. It is a fascinating chronicle of the U.S. Air Force's persistence in the face of overwhelming odds. I sure would not have wanted to be crouched in some bomber's nose, tail gunner's position or top turret. I liked the book.
