Aircraft R-322 at Padang in December
1948. The R-322 was one of the first aircraft of B-Flight equipped with hand grenade-racks.
Each rack could carry twelve grenades of 0.68 kg each, which lined up neatly in
the slipstream during flight. The grenades could be discharged from the
front cockpit by pulling cords. |
