Boeing 377 Stratocruiser N410Q, msn 15979, built for
BOAC and delivered on March 24, 1950, as G-AKGM named RMA Castor.
Transocean bought March 4, 1959, registered as N105Q. Reregistered as N410Q in
October 1959. Sold to Airline Equipment Co. September 1, 1960. Note
the folded over rudder and vertical fin. This was so the aircraft could
fit in a hanger with limited head room. |
